08:00 - 08:30: Pick up at Sapa town and start the trip

The local guide will meet you at the meeting point in Sapa town, provide a brief introduction to the journey and guide you through some necessary trekking skills, re-check the necessary things to travel.

08:30 - 09:00: Start trekking from Sapa town, walk to the Southeast along Muong Hoa valley.

The first village is Y Linh Ho village - a village of the Black H'mong people, learn about the life, culture of the H'mong people and the wild natural scenery here.

The road to the village is usually a small trail, passing through terraced fields and majestic mountains. This road can be a bit steep, but in return is the poetic scenery of mountains and forests and simple wooden houses. At Y Linh Ho, you will see vast terraced fields, especially beautiful in the golden rice season (August) or the flooding season (May) or green rice fields (from June to July). This is an ideal place to take photos, observe the daily activities of the people and admire the rice fields with their characteristic terraced structure.

10:30 - 11:00: Continue trekking to Lao Chai village
Go 3 km further to Lao Chai village - a large village of the Black H'mong people. Cross the small bridge to enter Muong Hoa valley, enjoy the peaceful scenery of the valley.

To reach this village, our local guide will lead you through the rice terraces with the local road few tourists and up a bit so that you can see the nice view of Muong Hoa valley.

From above, you will see terraced fields stretching along the hillsides and winding along the Muong Hoa stream. Lao Chai has many stops for visitors to sightsee and take photos.

12:00 - 12:30: Have lunch with local food in the restaurant in Lao Chai village near the river.
Try the local food or if you would like to have a picnic lunch on the uphill to chill the countryside atmosphere, the road we take you will have interesting places to enjoy.

13:30 - 14:00: Walk to see Ta Van village with the large rice terraces and interact with Giáy people - a popular minority ethnic in Ta Van.

After lunch, continue trekking about 3 km to Ta Van village - home to the Giay ethnic group.
Discover the daily life, culture and traditional costumes of the Giay people, different from the H'Mong people in Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. This is a quite famous village for tourists, because the families here have homestay services, allowing guests to stay and experience local life.

Ta Van has a very special landscape, with the Muong Hoa stream flowing through the village. The traditional stilt houses of the Giay people are interspersed with terraced rice fields, creating a peaceful and poetic picture of the countryside.

15:00: From Ta Van village, walk pass through nature bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village - the Red Dao people village

From Ta Van, trek about 2 km to the Southeast to reach Giang Ta Chai village. The road can cross rattan suspension bridges, bamboo forests and small streams, you will have more experiences close to nature.

Giang Ta Chai is a Red Dao village, famous for its bamboo forests and impressive waterfalls. Giang Ta Chai Waterfall (also known as Seo Waterfall) is located deep in the village, with clear and cool water. You can observe the daily life of the Red Dao, highlighted by their bright red traditional costumes and unique customs.

16:30: End the one-day trekking journey and return to Sapa town, then you can relax in the town with night activities.
